Coming to DVD next Tuesday, January 22: SEARCHING FOR SUGAR MAN
Malik Bendjelloul’s investigation into an obscure musician with an unusual legacy premiered at Sundance last year, claiming two awards. It went on to screen extensively, including SXSW, Tribeca, Karlovy Vary, and IDFA, among others. Earlier this month, the doc was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, and also picked up a Cinema Eye.
