Coming to DVD tomorrow, February 12: BULLY
Lee Hirsch’s look at bullying had its world premiere at Tribeca in 2011. Its festival circuit included Hot Docs, the Hamptons, Silverdocs, and the Los Angeles Film Festival, among many others, while the Weinstein Company released the film in theatres unrated, after a controversial rating proposed by the backwards-thinking MPAA. The doc made the Oscar shortlist and received the Audience Choice Prize at the Cinema Eye Honors.
