Marshall Curry’s look at an unlikely freedom fighter in Libya debuted at Tribeca last year, where it won the Best Documentary Award. Its fest circuit has also included Hot Docs, AFI Docs, IFF Boston, Nashville, Traverse City, New Zealand, and Melbourne.
