2020 Sundance Awards

The winners of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival were announced at an awards ceremony this past Saturday night, which also included the public reveal of Sundance Institute’s Documentary Film Program head Tabitha Jackson as the festival’s new Festival Director, replacing longtime head John Cooper. The 2020 ceremony may be viewed in full here. A list of the awards follows:

In addition to recapping awards announced in separate ceremonies earlier in the week – Shorts, Sloan, Amazon Studios Producers Awards, Adobe Mentorship Awards for Editing, NHK – the evening included the announcements of the winners of the US and World Cinema Documentary and Dramatic Competitions, the NEXT Innovator Prize, and audience awards.
