Jimmy Chin and E Chai Vasarhelyi’s study in determination premiered at Sundance this year, where it picked up an audience award. It has gone on to screen at Nantucket, True/False, Full Frame, San Francisco, Telluride Mountainfilm, and Nashville, among others. It now comes to VOD via iTunes.

Jeremiah Zagar’s exploration of an infamous murder trial bowed at Sundance last year. Other festival screenings included Nantucket, Hot Docs, Sarasota, True/False, and Full Frame. The film now comes to VOD exclusively via iTunes before expanding to other digital platforms next week.

Since then, it has screened at Nantucket, BAMcinemaFest, AFI Docs, Outfest, San Francisco, SXSW, Hot Docs, Full Frame, Srasota, Miami, and IFF Boston, among others. The film will screen as part of DOC NYC’s Short List section later this month.

2015 DOC NYC in Focus: Galas

11x17-PosterIn a week and a half, the 6th edition of DOC NYC, America’s largest documentary festival, begins. As Director of Programming, I’ve spent the bulk of the past several months making film selections with Artistic Director Thom Powers and other members of our team. We’re looking forward to bringing this year’s expanded lineup to NYC audiences.
