Adam Carolla and Nate Adams’ look at the screen icon’s racing dreams premiered at a special charity event in Los Angeles this Spring. It has screened at other special events and was released on VOD earlier this year.

Tuesday, November 17, the second day of DOC NYC PRO’s Insider Conference, is devoted to archives and preservation: Archival & Survival, copresented by Association of Commercial Stock Image Licensors (ACSIL) and the International Documentary Association (IDA). All of the Insiders Conference DOC NYC PRO sessions include access to the new PRO Lounge, begin with morning bagels and coffee from 9:15-10:00am, and conclude with Happy Hours from 5:00-6:00pm. Special Screening: MARWENCOL
Coming to NYC’s Stranger Than Fiction tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10: MARWENCOL
Jeff Malmberg’s remarkable portrait of trauma mediated by world-building made its debut at SXSW in 2010, where it won the documentary jury prize. It had an extensive festival run, which included Cleveland, IFF Boston, Hot Docs, Seattle, Silverdocs, Fantasia, Woodstock, Vienna, Docville, and Biografilm, and received recognition from Cinema Eye Honors, the IDA, and the Independent Spirit Awards, among several others.

On TV: STRAY DOG
Coming to PBS’s Independent Lens today, Monday, November 9: STRAY DOG
Debra Granik’s candid profile of a biker premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival last year, where it won the best documentary award. The film went on to screen at the New York Film Festival, New Orleans, Zurich, Hamptons, BFI London, Indie Memphis, Stockholm, Zagreb Dox, Cleveland, Sarasota, Nashville, and Jeonju, among other events, and was released theatrically this Summer.
