Coming to Netflix tomorrow, Saturday, November 14: DIOR AND I
Frédéric Tcheng’s behind-the-scenes look at the legendary fashion design company made its bow at Tribeca in 2014. It has screened at fests in Seattle, Sydney, Provincetown, Outfest, Jerusalem, New Zealand, Rio, Hamptons, Warsaw, Abu Dhabi, CPH:DOX, Tallinn Black Nights, and Madrid Fashion among others. It made its VOD debut earlier this year, but comes to Netflix this weekend.

Stevan Riley’s meticulously crafted portrait of Marlon Brandon debuted at Sundance this year. Further festival screenings followed at Nantucket, San Francisco, New Directors/New Films, Hot Docs, AFI Docs, Sydney, Seattle, Provincetown, and Ashland, among others.

Coming to theatres today, Friday, November 13: SONG OF LAHORE
Andy Schocken and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s portrait of a Pakistani jazz band debuted at Tribeca this Spring. It has gone on to screen at Sydney, Melbourne, Hamptons, and the upcoming Dubai fests.

Coming to DVD tomorrow, Friday, November 13: KURT COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK
Brett Morgen’s revelatory profile of the Nirvana frontman had its world premiere at Sundance this year. Screenings followed at Berlin, Miami, Dublin, Full Frame, and Hot Docs, among others, and the film appears as part of DOC NYC’s Short List this month.

DOC NYC PRO’s Insider Conference comes to a close on Thursday, November 19 with Breaking In, New Road Maps, a day focused on expanding the nonfiction space to diverse and emerging voices, Copresented by The City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and creative partner Chicken & Egg Pictures. All of the Insiders Conference DOC NYC PRO sessions include access to the new PRO Lounge, begin with morning bagels and coffee from 9:15-10:00am, and conclude with Happy Hours from 5:00-6:00pm.
