Special Screening: MARWENCOL
Coming to NYC’s Stranger Than Fiction tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10: MARWENCOL
Jeff Malmberg’s remarkable portrait of trauma mediated by world-building made its debut at SXSW in 2010, where it won the documentary jury prize. It had an extensive festival run, which included Cleveland, IFF Boston, Hot Docs, Seattle, Silverdocs, Fantasia, Woodstock, Vienna, Docville, and Biografilm, and received recognition from Cinema Eye Honors, the IDA, and the Independent Spirit Awards, among several others.
